1. Overview
This Payment Policy sets out how payments are accepted and processed for purchases made on baccihome.com (“Site”). All customers agree to this Policy when checking out.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept: American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal (and compatible debit cards), Shop Pay, and Visa. At least one conventional payment method is always available at checkout. Google Help

3. Currency & Pricing (Australia-first)
- Currency: All prices and transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified at checkout.
- GST & total price: For Australian consumers, displayed prices are shown as a single, total price including GST and mandatory charges (shipping shown separately where applicable). business.gov.au
4. Payment Timing & Authorisation
- Immediate payment: Payment is due in full at checkout unless we explicitly offer another option (e.g., pre-order).
- Authorisation & capture: We may obtain a payment authorisation at order placement and capture funds when the order is accepted/ready to ship.
- Pre-orders/back-orders (if offered): We’ll state when your card is charged and expected dispatch dates on the product page/checkout.
5. Security of Payments

6. Card Surcharges (Australia)
- We do not ordinarily surcharge for card payments.
- If we ever apply a surcharge, it will not exceed our cost of acceptance and will be disclosed clearly before you pay. If there is no surcharge-free method, any surcharge will be included in the displayed total price. ACCC
7. Fraud Screening & Verification
To protect customers and our store, we may use automated and manual anti-fraud checks. We might request additional verification (e.g., address or identity confirmation). Orders we suspect are high-risk may be held or cancelled with any captured payment promptly released/refunded.
8. Failed, Cancelled or Abandoned Payments
- Failed/declined: If your payment fails, you’ll be prompted to use another method.
- Cancellation by us: If we cannot verify an order or fulfil it, we’ll cancel and refund any payment captured.
- Abandoned checkout: Items are not reserved until payment is completed.
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer/PayPal, we’ll provide evidence to the provider. This does not affect your statutory rights or our Returns/Refunds Policy (see Site footer).
10. Taxes, Duties & Invoices
- Australia: Prices are GST-inclusive for AU customers. Tax details appear on your order confirmation or invoice. business.gov.au
- Outside Australia (future U.S. expansion): Any applicable sales taxes/duties will be shown or calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and prevailing rules.
11. Compliance with Google Merchant Center/Ads
